Dr. Alyssa Trombley,

NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIAN

Dr. Trombley is passionate about helping women flourish. She believes that in order to achieve vibrancy and health, we must nourish all aspects of the whole (body, mind, and soul). She strives to provide a nurturing environment where patients can learn, grow, and heal. By integrating modern science and the philosophies of naturopathic medicine, Dr. Trombley is able to support you holistically in your journey towards health.

Her focus areas include Women’s Health, PCOS, Stress and Burnout. Dr. Trombley is accepting new patients for in-person and telemedicine virtual care within the province of British Columbia.

Dr. Trombley endeavors to support women’s hormonal health throughout all of life’s stages and changes. She is passionate about helping women overcome their health challenges so that they can go on to live life at their fullest potential. While providing a space for her patients to feel heard and understood, Dr. Trombley aims to strengthen the foundations of health and provide targeted, individualized treatment.

While much of her practice is grounded in supporting hormonal health, she recognizes how interconnected our body systems are. Considering this, she also supports women in optimizing mood & mental health, thyroid function, resilience to stress, and digestive health. She encourages collaboration with other healthcare practitioners to achieve the best health outcomes for her patients.

Dr. Trombley’s path to naturopathic medicine was born out of her own health struggles. After struggling for years with poor immune function, recurrent infections, low energy, and debilitating menstrual cramps, she looked to naturopathic medicine for relief. There, she was able to regain her health (+ so much more!) and quickly became passionate about this form of medicine. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan followed by her doctorate of naturopathic medicine at the CNME accredited Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver, BC. After falling in love with the mountains, she decided to set up her practice here in Vancouver.

Dr. Trombley has a passion for nature and all things outdoors. In her free time, she loves exploring the mountains and wandering forest trails. She is an avid hiker and loves to remain active through running, volleyball, yoga, snowboarding, and more. She is a foodie at heart and enjoys creating nourishing meals in her kitchen. She loves spending time relaxing with friends and family, watching sunsets, and sipping warm cups of tea.
