Dr. Briana Takeshita

NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIAN

With a focus on patient-centered care through all stages of life, Dr. Takeshita’s clinical practice spans from infancy to adulthood. She is dedicated to supporting patients with safe, effective and targeted results-driven treatments. Her dedication to compassionate naturopathic care is evidenced by her understanding and acknowledgment of where patients are on the wellness spectrum.

In her pediatric practice, Dr. Takeshita specializes in treating complex conditions such as PANDAS/PANS/Autoimmune Encephalitis, digestive disturbances, immune dysfunction, skin ailments, and behavioral concerns. She also encourages proactive naturopathic care for the well child as she believes prevention and early intervention are pivotal. She builds warm and transparent partnerships with pediatric patients and their caregivers, providing support, guidance and education to achieve optimal health.

Dr. Takeshita is passionate about helping patients optimize their skin health. She prioritizes individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of tools for those aiming to address skin-related ailments or optimize skin tone, texture, and appearance. She acknowledges the district impact that digestion and hormones have on skin and comprehensively explores pertinent contributing factors.

She is a proud alumna of the University of British Columbia, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. She then went on to complete her four-year naturopathic medical degree from Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, a CNME accredited institution. Prior to transitioning her practice to Luna Health Clinic, Dr. Takeshita built her practice at High Five Family Health under the of mentorship and guidance of Dr. Ayla Wilson, ND since 2018.

Dr. Takeshita holds additional certification in Pharmaceutical Prescribing, Aesthetic Neuromodulators, Aesthetic Dermal Fillers and IV Therapy.

Dr. Briana Takeshita is registered and in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC (CBPBC), he College of Naturopathic Physicians of Ontario (CONO), British Columbia Naturopathic Doctors (BCND) and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Takeshita enjoys spending time with her partner and their daughter exploring Vancouver's outdoor gems, visiting local dining destinations, and experimenting with new recipes at home.
