Dr. Schiavon is dedicated to fostering a safe place for her patients to explore their health, discover the root cause of their illness, and begin their wellness journey with confidence.

Her focus areas include Women’s Health, Digestion, MenopauseDr. Schiavon is accepting new patients for in-person and telemedicine virtual care within the province of British Columbia.

Dr. Schiavon endeavors to support women with their health concerns from first menstruation through to the years surrounding menopause while making them feel heard, empowered, and educated along the way. She creates treatment plans that cater to the needs of each patient, establishing goals that are both attainable and sustainable. She believes in the importance of establishing the foundations of wellness and that removing obstacles in the way of optimal health is an essential component of any treatment protocol.

While a large portion of her practice is focused on hormonal health, she recognizes how interconnected our body systems are. Considering this, she also supports women in optimizing digestive and thyroid health, metabolic concerns, and resilience to stress. She encourages collaboration with other healthcare practitioners to achieve the best health outcomes for her patients.

Dr. Schiavon's path to Naturopathic Medicine was unconventional, as she started her career as an accountant. After realizing her true passion was to help women navigate their health journey, she moved to Vancouver to attend the CNME accredited Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. Here she fell in love with the pacific air and decided to set up her practice. She is also an educator for a leading North American manufacturer of professional-grade supplements. In this role, she delivers education on common medical conditions, treatment, and suggested product pairings to a diverse audience, including pharmacists and nutritionists. She enjoys applying this knowledge with her clinical patients as well, following one of the core tenets of naturopathic medicine, “doctor as teacher”.

Dr. Schiavon has a penchant for nourishing food, physical activity, and time spent in nature. Her hobbies include camping, cooking, and staying active through biking and hiking. She is a strong proponent of life balance, so you are equally likely to find her sampling natural wines and enjoying chocolate.
